Topics of Study
It’s interesting to note that dogs don’t see colour the way that we do. So if they have no idea what colour they are, then why add colour to your dog’s coat? Dogs thrive on positive energy! They love it when they get extra cuddles and attention from humans for looking so very cute and the happiness they radiate leaves a pawsitive impact on us all.
Learning to colour increases your precision in grooming and is a fun way to increase exposure to your grooming business. Whether you want a temporary pop of colour, to explore amazing shapes and shades, or a permanent creation on your dog, this coat colouring workshop is designed to provide a great introduction to the wonderful world of grooming in colour.
Students will get to work on real-life doggie models, to ensure each attendee gets the benefit of hands-on experience, with the techniques explored easily applied to any companion animal coat-colouring work.
Each workshop has a maximum of 8 places, where students are split into pairs and provided one dog per pair, with each student having their own colouring project to complete on the dog. Please note, you can ‘BYO’ small dog to use if preferred, but due to space and time restraints, this will need to be approved on a case by case basis by Angela.
All products, tools, equipment and course materials are provided, all you need to bring are your own scissors and your passion for learning new skills!
